The usually annual Glastonbury Festival will be held from June 26th-30th in Worthy Farm, Pilton. The UK event is sold out already! Big names like U2, B.B. King, the Wu-Tang Clan, Coldplay, and Beyonce have performed this event in the past, so it’s no surprise that with her name rolling off of tongues all around the world, rumor mill is saying that they would be considering the Barbados born singer, Rihanna to headline. RiRi once spoke about being able to perform at the big show by saying, “I think I could rock Glastonbury, no question.” I think so too. We’ll keep a close eye out to see if this will happen for her. Vin Diesel isn’t the first person I’d expect to be belting out a heartfelt ballad like Rihanna’s “Stay” (off her recent album Unapologetic), but the buff actor did just that on Valentine’s Day…and it sounded pretty darn good! If you can get past the awkwardness that is someone like Vin singing the song, you may actually like his performance. Watch him sing his heart out below! The late Princess Diana is royalty in the UK…literally…so it’s quite an honor to be compared to someone of such stature. The UK’s Sunday Times made a bold move for yesterday’s release, comparing Rihanna to Di with a detailed article as to why the Bajan pop singer is anything like the late princess.
