I have no desire to tune into this show, but apparently it’s a ratings goldmine for TLC! If you’re not in the know, Honey Boo Boo is a 7-year-old from the south with a family that epitomizes the term “redneck”. She rose to fame on the pageantry reality show Toddlers & Tiaras, and subsequently got her own spin-off, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. Honey and her family each started off getting a salary of between 5 and 7 thousand a show, but after just the second episode, TLC has upped the ante tremendously…and they didn’t even ask for it!
