Celebration at an Iraqi wedding went from joyous to troubled. While it’s not completely uncommon for people to bust celebratory shots into the air, no one likes their shots prematurely. An officer from an Arizona jail was shot dead in front of his home as he was getting ready to head to work. The victim, 27-year-old Jorge Vargas, was an 8 year veteran, father and husband. He was killed in uniform. In response to the tragic death of Vargas, his boss, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Joe Arpaio, bought the entire department a special gift. Check it out after the jump.
