If you’ve been keeping up with the popular Netflix series ‘Making A Murderer’ you know that a single vial of blood was a key piece of evidence Steven Avery’s trial. Just four years prior to being arrested and charged with the murder of of 25-year-old photographer Teresa Halbach, Avery was wrongfully locked away for 18 years, however was exonerated with the help of DNA testing. Baltimore Cop Caesar Goodson Jr. Headed To Trial For The Death Of Freddie Gray; William Porter Ordered To Testify

Baltimore Officer Caesar Goodson Jr., is a mere days away from his trial date on charges of manslaughter, assault, reckless endangerment, misconduct, and second-degree “depraved-heart” murder against Freddie Gray; the young man died due to spinal injuries while in a police van that Goodson was driving. The Jan. 11th trial date will be the second of the sixth that will take place. The first trial, which turned out to be a mistrial due to a deadlocked jury, was for officer William Porter; a guy that now has to testify in Goodson’s trial (he also has to testify in the trial of Sgt. Wednesday morning jurors in the manslaughter trial of a Baltimore police officer charged in the death of Freddie Gray will resume deliberations after telling the judge they were “deadlocked.” Officer William Porter is one of six officers being charged with Gray’s death. The jury, composed of three black men, four black women, three white women and two white men — told a judge on Tuesday afternoon, that they’d been been unable to reach an unanimous decision on Porter’s charges, but the judge asked them to keep at it.
