NBA: Kobe Bryant Wants Fan To Change Twitter Name & Will Follow Him IF He Does!

Even if you’re not a Kobe fan, you know you’d be gassed if Kobe started following you on Twitter.  A fan hit up the Black Mamba for a follow and Kobe responded telling him he would IF he changes his Twitter name.  I’m curious to see what this fan does.  Check out who the guy is and why Kobe’s asking him to change his name…

If you watched the Lakers/Spurs game 1 yesterday and had Twitter next to you – you saw Kobe live tweeting as the game went on. He added some nice commentary – exactly what you would expect from Kobe. When Coach Mike D’Antoni was asked about it during the postgame interview, he rolled his eyes and said Kobe is just a fan right now. Reallllly?! Well Kobe heard what the coach said and yes, he responded on Twitter. While the tweets seemed a little crazy of D’Antoni’s comments, when you actually watch the video … it’s not as bad because he makes light of it at the end. NFL: Darrelle Revis’ Camp Takes Shot at Jets on Way Out & Revis Sends Message on Twitter

The big NFL news yesterday was that the best cornerback in the league, Darrelle Revis, signed with the Tampa Bay Bucs.  Sometimes breaking up is hard to do.  It can go smooth or there can be hurt feelings.  Apparently his camp had to throw in one last shot aimed at the Jets on Revis’ way out.  Shortly later Revis took to Twitter to send a message to his fans.  Check it out…

A few days ago during the massive media coverage of the Boston Marathon bombing and the Senate gun control vote, shoe designer, Kenneth Cole decided to make a very insensitive joke. Kenneth Cole or someone who controls his account, tweeted regarding the gun control measure, which the Senate didn’t pass, to sell shoes.


Twitter Announces A Shutdown Date For TweetDeck

Back in March, we told you about the shutting down of TweetDeck’s mobile and AIR apps. Well, May 7 is the last day its mobile and AIR apps will be availble. Also, TweetDeck’s Facebook integration will no longer be available on the same date. According to Twitter they are shutting it down to focus developing for modern browsers.


Top Free Apps This Week On Google Play

With the new Facebook Home which was recently release, the Facebook app is number one this week. Facebook Messenger came in at number five and Nextflix at number 10.
