Sorry, Kids! Amsterdam Bans Smoking Weed In School
Sorry, kids! No more lighting up for you. Amsterdam is bringing in the new year with a smoke-free school zone. Just recently, Amsterdam wanted to enforce a potential law banning tourists and foreigners from buying marijuana. This law could’ve been detrimental to Amsterdam’s infamous coffee shops. This is where different types of weed were listed on menus to order, very popular there. But now, after many years of debate & after it has become a huge problem with schools – cannabis will no longer be allowed to be smoked at or around the school zone. Playgrounds (yes, kids smoke there) and schools will be stated as “no toking zones” and anyone who doesn’t take the law seriously will be fined by police. Meanwhile, in America, we have a 6-year-old boy in California smoking for medical reasons and Washington State & Colorado legalizing the use of recreational marijuana in small amounts. Although there is this new rule enforced as of January 1, 2013 in Amsterdam – they are still considered the “cannabis capital” of the world. Biz Baby
Students Arrested For Getting Teachers And Classmates High!
Two students were arrested for giving their teachers and classmates marijuana laced brownies! I know it sounds like a scene out of “How High” except it wasn’t a successful one for these two. The students from Colorado University brought in the brownies for , bring food day, at the school and fed them to everyone in class. According to reports It was discovered after a professor started losing her conscience in a class and a student began having anxiety attacks. Although marijuana is legal in the state giving weed to people without them knowing is not legal, so the students are facing charges. Steph B

White House Considering Legal Action Against Weed States
White House Officials, as well as higher ups in the Justice Department have been meeting and discussing regularly the approach they are going to take to the legalization of Marijuana in states like Colorado and Washington who both also voted to keep President Obama in the White House. It will be interesting to see how they attack the issue as federal officials push to sue the states that have legalized marijuana though it is still illegal under the Federal Controlled Substance Act. Smokers Celebration: (Marijuana Legalization) Midnight Hit In Washington And Everyone Sparked Up in Unison
Last night hundreds of people met up in Seattle, Washington at the space needle. They all planned to have a count down and once midnight struck everyone cheered and sparked joint and bongs. One guy referred to the celebration equivalent to being “a kid in a candy shop” Washington and Colorado were the first states to legalize marijuana for people over the age of 21. Colorado will be legalized officially Jan 5th. Washington’s law follow the same as alcohol laws which forbids smoking in public but during the celebration police officials let it slide. Biz Baby DN
