In an interview in this month’s GQ, (Chris) Bosh was asked in a situation where he, (LeBron) James and (Dwyane) Wade had similar statistics in a game, who he would select to take the final shot.  His answer caused quite a bit of controversy, check what he had to say after the jump.

“Dwyane,” he said, with the interview noting the Bosh “immediately” offered the answer.

Bosh said Friday he did not see any reason to take anything back.

“I mean, they’re going to take it however they want,” he said of the reaction to his comments. “I mean if that’s the case, then I’m not going to be able to say nothing at all. I don’t think anybody is. It’s not really that big of a deal.

“I tell the truth. And if somebody doesn’t like it, I can live with myself, because I’m being honest. You ask me my opinion. Others might have another opinion, and if that’s their opinion, that’s great. If it’s debatable, argue, whatever, do what you want to do. But if you can’t be honest, what do you have?”

James said he had no issue with Bosh’s opinion.

“If I’m put in that position, I’m going to try to close out and games, and D-Wade is going to do that same,” he said. “Are you always successful? No, you’re not going to be successful every time you close out a game, but it shouldn’t deter you from trying to do it again.”
