Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey’s taping for American Idol yesterday came to a grinding halt after the two divas went head to head in a shouting match. Nicki was apparently fed up with Mariah taking jabs at her and constantly “running down her resume every 5 minutes”. Mariah was apparently pissed that Nicki had thrown a hissy-fit and was preventing her from getting back home to her babies in a timely fashion. Though a truce has yet to be heard of yet, American Idol producer/host Ryan Seacrest and Mariah’s husband Nick Cannon both have things to say on the matter. One’s loving it, the other’s paying the BS no mind. Can you guess whose opinion belongs to who? Find out below.

Ryan’s response (as said on air this morning on his LA radio show)
“We want them to be on this panel together. This is a good team, a great team, to go out and look for the next American Idol. [There’s] nothing wrong with disagreeing … That’s gonna happen, and it’s okay. These are all very different individuals with different perspectives and different opinions that provide for interesting conversation and dialogue and feedback for the contestants.”

Nick’s response:
“My wife is the strongest and the classiest woman I’ve ever met. If you watch the video she just maintains her composure like she does. I don’t think she’s moved by the theatrics and the pageantry of it all. She signed up to do a job to help young people accomplish their dreams. I hope this is not what the show is about, is the cat fights.”
