Word is – Kanye West’s career might be struggling because of Kim K. It’s true, when you’re in a relationship – a lot of things change. You start spending a lot of time with your significant other – focusing on different things. You want to spend so much time with your partner that you stop doing the things you’re used to or you start doing them differently. But is Ye living that Kim Kardashian Kurse? You know.. that life changing struggle that all her exes dealt with. Sources are saying Kim’s starting to become a problem.. see exactly what they’re saying after the jump!
Sources are saying that Kanye’s popularity is plummeting down and has become ‘tainted.’ From all his appearances on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” to talking more about fashion more than music then Kim K unwelcome in the world of high fashion (which he tries so hard to place her in) is all taking over.
Now, Kanye is involved in whatever Kim is involved in. She’s promoting it? His name is included as well.
An industry source says:
“His personal life is overpowering his music,”
Then later on adds:
“Every time he plays, people are wondering if Kim is going to be there. It’s not a good thing for him, especially if he wants to be taken seriously.”
Damn! NY Daily News also reports that, Kim is also affecting Kanye’s outcome as well! Ye was offered several opportunities to host New Year’s Eve parties, but he would only be able to perform if he BRINGS Kim. He was utterly offended by this the source shared.
A sales broker speaks about his upcoming performance at Revel, Atlantic City, claiming his shows, “aren’t even CLOSE to being sold out.”
Another sign that the paper’s saying is more proof that Kanye’s becoming more unpopular amongst fans is that, “Kanye had a massive portion of the audience walking out during his performance at the Dec. 12 Hurricane Sandy benefit concert at Madison Square Garden.” I disagree with this, only because the crowd wasn’t necessarily “diverse” – so I wouldn’t actually blame Kim for this. A lot of the reason the complaints started was because of the “kilt,” the paper says. And the paper wasn’t the only one that mentioned something about his outfit.
One attendee from the Sandy Benefit 12-12-12 Concert told Confidenti@l’s Marianne Garvey:
“Literally half the audience got up to go to the bathroom and it was the talk of the men’s room,”
Supposedly, Kanye is taking matters into his own hands because he is not happy with how things are going at all. He’s actually not blaming Kim K in any way at all – he’s actually trying to restructure his team and meeting with top-level music executives seeking advice.
At least he’s trying to fix other things before blaming his girl. Hopefully Kim isn’t really putting a strain on Kanye’s career, it just wouldn’t extremely be surprise because of her history of taking over her exes lives. Maybe he should come out with a new album.. it’s been way too long & I’m sure fans would be happy about that. That’s exactly what he needs to do to get out his this rut!
