Last week we reported that RIM settled a patent dispute with Nokia, but the amount of the settlement was’nt disclosed when RIM and Nokia settled. The word is RIM recently made a one time payment to Nokia for $65 million . Now that the payment is made RIM and Nokia will enter a settlement of all patent litigation between both companies in United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Germany. And no further action will be taken on Nokia’s end. The payment will end up in Nokia’s 3rd quarter earnings in 2013.
