Carmelo Anthony is just the latest pro athlete to show off their sneaker collection. He is not new to sneaker collecting at all, just happens his wife LaLa caught him admiring his closet at home and posted it on Instagram. The picture doesn’t give justice to the actual size of the closet and the collection. For me personally, I never put much stock in celebrities and things like this. Melo has a contract with Nike, which means they give him any kicks that he really wants. I respect much more the collection of a sneaker head who stands on line for hours and hours and runs all over town to get their hands on the freshest pair of kicks released.
