Back in 2011, Freddie Gibbs signed to Jeezy’s growing CTE imprint, but was cut at the end of 2012 as the label decided to move in a different direction. At first, it seemed as though the split was amicable and strictly a business decision, but a couple of months into the new year, Freddie began speaking on the situation, and he wasn’t happy. Amongst other things, he called his former CEO “fake,” revealing he never once helped his career and that he has zero respect for him.
Almost a year to the day since the split was announced, it appears that Freddie still isn’t over it. Taking to Twitter over the weekend, the Indiana rapper revealed that he has a diss track on the way, taking aim at Jeezy’s neck. Oh boy! Check the tweets in the gallery. Wonder if Jizzle will respond?
