Yesterday will go down as one of the most hilarious nights in the NBA offseason.  DeAndre Jordan reached out to Doc Rivers and informed him that he made a mistake when he agreed to a four-year, $80 million deal with the Dallas Mavericks. Rivers along with other members of the Clippers, traveled to Jordan’s house for another meeting and stayed there with him throughout the night until the NBA moratorium was lifted and Jordan was able to re-sign with the team at 12:00 am which he did.  While some people thought they were holed up in Jordan’s house trying to convince him to stay with the Clippers, it turns out the meeting was relatively short and they were just hanging out playing cards the rest of the time.  They left Mavericks owner Mark Cuban out in the cold, refusing to let him enter the house and Jordan would not answer his phone calls or texts.

Cuban broke his silence on the matter on his CyberDust app, telling fans that Jordan never responded to him at all yesterday as the melee was happening.  He also said that he told free agent Wes Matthews he could back out of their deal as well but Matthews is still committed to joining the Mavericks.

While the situation was totally hilarious yesterday, it was also super unprofessional of Jordan to not at least speak to Cuban man to man and let him know what’s up.
