Earlier this fall, Gabrielle Union filed a lawsuit against BET Networks over their show that she stars in, Being Mary Jane. In the suit, Gaby alleged that they’d breached their contract by trying to squeeze two seasons of episodes into one, so that they didn’t have to pay her the extra money per episode she was guaranteed in the next season.

The actress was seeking more than $1 million in damages, as well as to have her contract amended immediately to reflect their oral agreement of 13 max episodes per season. Today, they announced the suit is not only settled, but a release date for the next season has been set!
