Cape Verde is an island country, spanning an archipelago of 10 islands located in the central Atlantic Ocean, 350 miles off the coast of Western Africa. The islands are of volcanic origin and while three of them (Sal, Boa Vista and Maio) are fairly flat, sandy and dry, the remaining ones are generally rockier and have more vegetation. Are Computers To BLAME For The Asiana Crash?!
Apparently if the pilots of the Asiana jetliner that crashed in San Francisco last week would have looked out of the window they would have noticed that they were flying too low. They instead do what most of us do now and put all of our trust into the computer which only lead to disaster. Airplanes are equipped with sophisticated computer systems that doesn’t really call for much manual flying skills experts and safety officials say. So perhaps if the pilots would have used their better judgement rather than leave their fate in the hands of the computer this could have all been avoided? We will never know but all we can do know is hope for more precaution in situations like this and pray for the innocent people that were killed and hurt on the flight.

WHAT?! You Can Do The Tour De France From Home?!!
Google has come out with an interactive game that takes you through each part of the Tour De France in honor of the 100th race. The game is called “Your Tour” and gives you a visual through both Google Maps and Streetview giving you a realistic experience of the 3,000km route. Hit the jump for the link and pics.
(Video) SO Sad! Asiana Airline Plane Crashes In San Francisco
A flight going from South Korea to San Francisco crashed Saturday afternoon. Authorities are still investigating the situation, but the tail was rumored to have fallen off and caused the crash, and the aircraft rolled over a few times. Two people died and 61 injured out of almost 300 people on the flight. Luckily, the majority of the people survived. You can see the what’s left of the plane in a short video after the jump.
