This is so dope! Jimmy Fallon has resurrected a lot of amazing things from our past on his late night show (Saved By The Bell, Full House, etc.), and last night, did it once again with LL Cool J. Together, the comedian and rapper/actor recreated LL’s classic hit “Going Back To Cali,” in honor of The Tonight Show being out West for Grammy week. Check out the epic-ness that occurred below.


Yes! VH1’s ‘The Breaks’ Set To Become An Actual Series

This is extremely exciting news for Hip-Hop fans all over! VH1 recently premiered their own TV movie entitled The Breaks which is about three young adults striving to make it in the rap industry. After the debut was very successful, VH1 decided that the show would officially become a weekly series as apposed to just a one-time thing. The movie ranked #2 as the most watched TV movie viewed by young adults since it aired in January – which is awesome news for the network!


Dr. Dre Films Extended Orgy Scene For Upcoming Original Apple Series

Well looks like Dr. Dre is no where near finished doing business with apple and beats1 even after his 3 billion dollar sum, apple wanted the Doctor involved in just more than the sell of headphones and Jimmy Lovine. So just what else can we expect from this upcoming original Apple Series which will be produced by DR. Dre and will also star the Doctor himself. Sources are saying it is steaming up with an extended orgy scene that was filmed this week.


BET Teams With American Black Film Festival For The First Annual ABFF Awards

With the lack of diversity in the Oscars (look at the above photo from their nominees brunch), the Golden Globes and more, BET Networks and the American Black Film Festival have decided to take matters into their own hands. Together, the entities have announced the ABFF Awards: A Celebration of Hollywood. “It’s clear that there’s a need for this show,” BET’s President, Stephen Hill, said. “2015 was ripe with tremendous and inspiring performances by African Americans and we are beyond thrilled to be the ones to recognize them with class and admiration.”


Fox To Add All-Women Sketch Comedy Show To Saturday Evening Lineup

The Lonely Island’s Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone are working with Fox to bring an all-womens sketch comedy show to its Saturday night lineup. Party Over Here will debut on March 12, and will star Nicole Byer from Girl Code, Jessica McKenna from the comedy troupes Groundlings and the Upright Citizens Brigade, and Saturday Night Live writer Alison Rich. “When we first conceived this idea, we thought of it as a spinoff of Empire,” The Lonely Island guys said in a statement. “We failed miserably. Now it’s much more of a sketch comedy show.” I’m looking forward to this!


Power Moves: Christina Milian Lands Role In FOX’s ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ Reboot

Christina Milian’s singing career may be non-existent, but she is boomin’ and bunkin’ in the acting department! The current star of Fox’s sitcom Grandfathered (with Full Houses’ John Stamos) has just nabbed another spot on the Fox network. Announced yesterday, Tina Turn Up will star as Magenta in their Rocky Horror Picture Show remake. The role was originally played by Patricia Quinn in 1975. Christina joins an existing cast that includes Victoria Justice as Janet, Adam Lambert as Eddie, Staz Nair as Rocky, Laverne Cox as Frank-N-Furter and Tim Curry as the Criminologist, among others. Shooting begins in Toronto next month, with the show airing in the fall. Congrats!
