Biggie & Faith Evans’ Collab Album Is Dropping In February

Faith Evans has been teasing a duet album with her late husband, Biggie Smalls, for some time now, and it’s finally about to drop. Speaking on a panel today, Faith revealed that The King & I is set for a release around Valentine’s Day! “It’s a really special project. It’s coming together so amazingly,” Faith said. “I have a few friends on the album.” She also revealed that the first single will feature her, Big and Jadakiss. Check out the video below.

To celebrate their 20th anniversary this year (on top of the tour,) Bad Boy has announced the release of a box set of their greatest hits. The set will feature 80 songs spanning over 5 CDs, and include hits like Biggie’s “Juicy,” 112’s “Peaches & Cream” and more. It will also feature a 64-page book about Bad Boy’s history.

French Montana Signs To Epic Records

Now that Bad Boy has moved from Interscope to Epic Records, they’re bringing some of their former roster with them. French Montana just announced that he is officially a part of the Epic family, inking a joint deal with them and Puff’s Bad Boy imprint. “Anyone who has paid attention to the course of hip-hop over the past decade has found French Montana consistently at the eye of the storm,” Epic Chairman and CEO LA Reid said in a statement. “He has funneled his North African roots and Bronx upbringing into a unique presence on hundreds of tracks by artists across the musical spectrum. Diddy Announces Bad Boy Reunion Concert In Brooklyn On Biggie’s Birthday

Diddy has been talking about doing a Bad Boy reunion tour for quite some time now, and finally he’s taken the first steps toward making it happen. No word on whether this will turn into something more, but we do know it’s going to be a great night! The Bad Boy Family Reunion goes down Friday, May 20 at the Barclays Center in the late Notorious B.I.G.’s hometown of Brooklyn, New York. The date is significant, as it marks the eve of what would have been Biggie’s 44th birthday. The lineup will of course include Diddy (aka Puff Daddy that night) as well as Faith Evans, Lil Kim, Mase, French Montana, Total, 112, Mario Winans and special guests Jay Z and Mary J. Blige. Tickets will be available via Live Nation starting Saturday, April 2 at 11AM.
