(Photos) Machine Gun Kelly Gives Back To Students In Queens, NY

The media always focuses on the crazy antics of most of our favorite artists, so when they do something positive, I always try to highlight it! Machine Gun Kelly’s ‘No Class Tour’ rolled through the Big Apple last night, and after a night of partying in celebration of Kells’ road manager Dre’s birthday and the 2-year anniversary of Kells’ debut album Lace Up, the EST crew made their way out to Queens to hang out with the kids this afternoon. “Cooked up 3 big trays of chicken and beef sliders, and gave em away to the kids getting out of school today at Burgandy’s Cafe,” MGK wrote on Instagram. “Good food for good kids.” Looks like the kids were truly appreciative! [No word on K’s cooking skills just yet though. Ha!] More pics in the gallery. The ‘No Class Tour‘ continues tomorrow night in Boston.

(Photos) So Dope! Kinship Bomber Jackets Pay Tribute To Dip Set, Bad Boy, 90s ‘Golden Era’ Of Hip-Hop

While at work at Hot 97 a few weeks back, Jim Jones and his boy Reggie stopped by, and I couldn’t help but notice the SICK Dip Set bomber jacket that Ebro was wearing while interviewing the Capo. Turns out it’s from Reggie’s Kinship brand, and there are a few other super dope bombers in the line as well! In celebration of Bad Boy‘s 20th anniversary, Kinship dropped the “Bad Boy Bomber” this week, featuring an all-over print of all of the label’s greatest albums, from the Biggie and Ma$e era, to modern day with the likes of French Montana and Janelle Monae. The Diplomats “Dipped” bomber features classic Dip Set covers from the mixtapes to official albums, like Diplomats Vol. 2, Purple Haze, Diplomatic Immunity, From Me To You and more. The last jacket pays homage to the “Golden Era” of hip-hop, featuring 50 classic albums of the 90s, including Nas‘ Illmatic, Snoop‘s Doggy Style and Dr. Dre’s The Chronic. A little birdie told me there’s a new one on the way as well, just for those 90s girls that grew up on Mariah, Janet, Aaliyah, etc.! The jackets are all 100% satin with a satin lining (purple for Bad Boy, red for Dip Set, black for the Golden Era) and a full zipper front. Take a closer look at them in the gallery and head to Kinship’s site to cop!

(Photos) Throwback Thursday: French Montana Back In The Day!

French Montana is making headlines for his breakup with Khloe Kardashian this week, but it just goes to show how far he’s come from being just an up-and-coming rapper in the hood! Throw it back with the Coke Boys CEO to the simpler days in the BX in the gallery!

(Audio) Biggie Smalls 1st Radio Interview Plus Freestyle With Craig Mack In 1994!!!

This is incredible, the 1st time the Notorious BIG touched down on Hot 97, AND if you don’t know, there was really NO other radio station(Major) in the country playing Hip Hop full time, so this is more than likely the 1st radio(To Clarify for the slow, 1st Major radio) interview Big ever did!!!

IFWT Interview: King Los Talks Bad Boy Departure, Diddy’s ‘Nobody’ Rant, Putting The DMV On With Wale & More

Fresh off the release of his new mixtape, Zero Gravity II, I sat down to chop it up with King Los at 25 Degrees in Hollywood…….and had quite possibly the best milkshake of my life. Los and I, along with his longtime girlfriend Lola Monroe, had just left the Revolt studios across the street, catching YG’s show and bicken back bein’ bool with him and his 400 crew before hunger…and business…prevailed. I wanted to catch up with the Baltimore wordsmith to discuss his new project, and get the word straight from the horse’s mouth on his Bad Boy departure and all the rumors surrounding the recipient of Diddy’s epic rant sampled on Rick Ross’ Mastermind cut, “Nobody.” In the last month alone, Los celebrated his son’s first birthday, his own birthday, released a thorough project that trended on Twitter for days, and embarked on a cross-country journey with longtime friend and collaborator, Kid Ink, for the “My Own Lane” tour…and that’s all surface stuff. An hour, 2 turkey burgers and that amazing milkshake later…I learned there’s so much more going on in this King’s court than most realize, and the future is looking royally good. Find out what he and Wale are plotting, what Weezy is inquiring and what Drake told him during a recent run-in below!
