R.I.P: Worlds Tallest Women Dies At 40.

China’s Yao Defen was the tallest woman in the world, 7 feet 8 inches. She died at the age of 40 in a house she shared with her mom in China’s central Anhui Provinvce. Yao had developed gigantism because of a tumor on her pituitary gland and by the time she was 15 she was more than 6 feet 6. In 2006, the tumor was removed but she had developed a series of different health issues including a blood clot on her brain. But they are saying the cause of her death is unknown yet. Mickey


Tech Talk News: China Unicom Get over 100K iPhone 5 Preorders on Day One

The people over at China love their iPhones too. On the first day it was available, a 100k iPhone 5’s were preordered.  That might not seem like much but in China Apple is low on the totem pole.  So far Apple this is breaking new ground.  After months of negations  Apple fought for approval of the device for over a month. And just last week Apple received its network license so that the device can be sold on mobile carriers . Apple is looking to gain some bigger ground in China’s booming smartphone market and with the release of  the iPhone 5 they hope to get some traction, at the moment Apple only has 15% of the smartphone market. China Releases Prototype Bullet Train Capable Of 311MPH !!!

China has always been a step or two ahead of us. So it’s only right that they made ANOTHER lightning fast train before we even made one. The Shanghai Magnetic Levitation Train, or Maglev, regularly hits speeds of 430 km/h or 268 mph while traveling, which is clearly not fast enough for the Chinese. China Lands First Jet On Aircraft Carrier

On Sunday China announced that it had landed it’s first fighter jet on an aircraft carrier. The US assesment is that it will be years before the aircraft carriers are battle ready for the Chinese, and no country other than the United States operates more than one.
