Desiigner is livin good these days, he’s probably looking at a Grammy nomination soon for “Panda” after it just went triple platinum, crossing the 3 million singles sold mark.

Desiigner joins the likes of many “hip-hop artists” nowadays who don’t really claim to making “rap music” – because they know it’s not rap. It’s just mumbling or coming up with a catchy melody you can put on wax with a hard beat behind it and waalaah! you’ve got a hit. But he still does refer to himself as an artist.
