Late Saturday night, comedian Donnell Rawlings stopped by Philadelphia diner Little Pete’s for a bite to eat, following his nearby gig. According to both Donnell and his girlfriend (who was not there, but was told the story later that night,) he put his bag down on his seat and stepped outside to have a cigarette, mid-meal. He was quickly accused of skipping out on the bill, which resulted in two staff members holding his back hostage and screaming in his face until the police came – which resulted in quite the fight. In the end, Donnell paid the $12 tab AND left a $60 tip, and no arrests were made. For her part, the waitress says Donnell “appeared drunk and like he was walking out on the tab,” and that he “made it clear before he left he wasn’t going to pay.” I’m not buying it. Sounds like a bunch of Trump supporters if you ask me…
