Who could imagine this classic with out the Academy Award winning Tom Hanks? In true Flashback Friday fashion, the internet is buzzing over the release of the audition tapes for Forrest Gump. The tapes captures some of the film’s most memorable scenes and although each of the actors’ talent shines through, the only thing missing is Hank’s Southern accent. Looks like Shakira was always cut out for the music bizz! Footage of the singer, when she was 12 years old, surfaced on the web. The video was taken in 1988 in Barranquilla, Colombia at Shakira’s school talent show. During her 15 minute set, she performed several songs in spanish and even did her signature hip shaking. If you’re a TGIF person, such as myself, then the 2014 version of, “Boy Meets World,” “Girl Meets World” excites you. A blast from the past is Lee Norris, better known as, Stuart Minkas, the geeky, annoying, honor student from the original show.
