NBA: It’s Official! Kevin Durant Named 2013-14 NBA MVP!

Kevin Durant can now officially be known for something other than winning scoring titles. The Oklahoma City Thunder star broke through and was named MVP of the league today for the first time in his career. After averaging 32 points per game this year, he is the first player to win the scoring title and MVP in the same season since Allen Iverson did it in 2000-2001. Lebron James, Blake Griffin, Joakim Noah & James harden rounded out the top 5 in MVP voting, but KD ran away with the vote overall.


Sports: What The Hell? Another NBA Player Robbed While Playing in Playoffs!

Let’s see there was Nick Young, then Paul George and now Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Andre Roberson all robbed while playing in games. Andre Roberson was burglarized during Game 3 of the NBA playoffs, but the good news here is that they have a suspect in custody.  Hit the jump for details…


(Photos & Video) 9 Killed, 75 Injured In Oklahoma Tornadoes

Last night tornadoes ripped through Oklahoma last night killing nine people and injuring at least 75 others. The tornadoes touched down in Oklahoma City and headed for Moore, which was devastated by tornadoes on May 20. The huge storms caused many warnings making people flee from town only to be trapped on the highways. Learning from what took place in Moore, many people took the warnings very seriously and made attempts to go someplace safe. The death toll is currently at nine people and hopefully will not rise, of those nine people two are children. Not only did tornadoes ravish the area, many areas faced floods that reached several feet. My prayers are with those effected by the horrific storm. Watch some footage of of the tornado below.

BREAKING NEWS: Tornado Touches Down Near Oklahoma City

A mile-wide tornado has struck areas outside Oklahoma City, Okla., causing significant property damage in the suburbs, according to aerial flyovers. Areas of metropolitan Oklahoma City appeared to be in shreds after a massive tornado moved through the region. A school was apparently among the structures leveled by the twister. (Video) NBA: Kevin Durant With the Crazy Dunk on Markieff Morris!

The Oklahoma City Thunder obliterated the Phoenix Suns 127-96 last night.  Midway through the second quarter Kevin Durant brought the ball up court, after a screen from Hasheem Thabeet stopped Michael Beasley, Durant exploded off the dribble with only Markieff Morris standing between him and the basket which was unfortunate for Morris.  Check it out after the jump.
