Jamie Foxx has been known to be one of the handful of black entertainers to make a stand for a cause, so it’s no surprise that with the gun law issues circulating that he’d have something to say. Foxx, along with other cast members of, “Django Unchained” won a couple of awards during the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, and his statement was made via a piece of clothing that he wore. The t-shirt that has some people talking said, ‘KNOW JUSTICE, KNOW PEACE’ with a picture of Trayvon Martin centered, and the victims of Sandy Hook Elementary surrounding in representation of the acts of gun violence. “Glee” Slammed By Newtown Parents For Shooting Episode
The popular show, “Glee,” is being slammed by the parents of the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in Newtown, CT. The show aired an episode about a school shooting in which the students had to run and hide for their lives. The parents are now saying that the show’s airing is too close to the shootings occurrence. FOX is also being slammed for not reaching out to the parents to give them a warning about the show. I think it’s terrible that the writers, producers, and the network didn’t even warn the parents about it. Thankfully the local superintendent of schools Janet Robinson emailed the parents about the show previous to it airing. Read more below.

According to a search warrant, Newtown, Connecticut shooter, Adam Lanza was the owner of a National Rifle Association Certificate. Among other rifle merchandise, the certificate was found in a blue duffle bag inside of Lanza’s home. The NRA, however released a statement saying that police documents are incorrect, because they have NO records of Adam Lanza or his mother having any affiliation with the association. Someone’s LYING! If it’s the NRA they done messed up now. That boy clearly didn’t get screened well enough. Drop down bottom to read the statement and view search warrants.
