In addition to winning an Oscar for her breakthrough performance in “12 Years a Slave,” Lupita Nyong’o has just joined the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. With this news, like the other movies in the series, it looks like there could be a classic in the making. It also looks like Lupita is still on a roll. In a press release, Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy said, “I could not be more excited about Lupita and Gwendoline joining the cast of Episode VII. It’s thrilling to see this extraordinarily talented ensemble taking shape.” Shortly after that announcement, the starlet took to Twitter. Check it out after the jump.
