Yesterday we published the audio of Emmett Till’s Estate talking about the influence of rap music and a certain lyric made by Lil Wayne on Future’s single, “Karate Chop.”
Well, apologies are being issued today. Epic Records is saying that the tracked was leaked (SURE) out and now, they are taking the necessary steps to edit the song for re-release. L.A. Reid has even gone as far as reaching out to the family of Till to apologize. Great strategy! Drop down bottom for the full statement.

“We regret the unauthorized remix version of Future’s ‘Karate Chop,’ which was leaked online and contained hurtful lyrics,” Epic Records’ statement said. “Out of respect for the legacy of Emmett Till and his family and the support of the Reverend Jesse L. Jackson Sr….we are going through great efforts to take down the unauthorized version.”
