So Dwayne Wade made his choice! No, he’s not staying with the Heat, and he’s not taking that huge offer from the Nuggets either. Keep reading to find out where he chose to rest his basketballs…

His hometown team was able to give him an offer that he was not able to refuse. He and Gabrielle will be headed to The Chi. Yep, The Chicago Bulls offered Wade $47M for two years, and it was just enough to make him jump.

“This was not an easy decision, but I feel I have made the right choice for myself and my family…Watching the Bulls growing up inspired me at an early age to pursue my dream of becoming a basketball player…My most treasured memories were watching my dad play basketball on the courts of Fermi Elementary School and developing my game at the Blue Island Recreation Center. I have never forgotten where I came from and I am thankful to have an opportunity to play for the team that first fueled my love of the game.”

He also had some really wonderful things to say about the Heat, and was very grateful to Arison family, Pat Riley and Miami for the last 13 years.

Here’s to a new year in the windy city!!
