Iran Says It Will Release 1 of 3 Jailed Americans on Saturday.

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran announced Thursday that Sarah Shourd, one of the three Americans jailed for more than a year, will be released Saturday to mark the end of Islamic holy month of Ramadan. Spokesman for the Iranian Ambassador to the United Nations tells Fox News that the American hiker will be released “very soon.” Iran claims they illegally crossed the border from Iraq’s northern Kurdish region and had threatened to put the three on trial for spying. Their families say they were hiking in the largely peaceful region of Iraq and that if they crossed the border, it was accidental. “The release of one of the detained Americans will be Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Estaghlal hotel.” The Iranian message gave no other details about who would be freed. But Sarah Shourd, 31, has told her mother she has serious medical problems. Shane Bauer, 27, and Josh Fattal, 27, also are being held.

Producer Bangladesh Puts Beef With Lil Wayne Aside Over Unpaid “A Milli” Beat To Work On Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday’ Album

Earlier this year producer Bangladesh — the man behind hits for the likes of Ludacris and Beyonce — put Lil Wayne on blast for failing to pay his $500,000 production bill, but it seems that the two have settled their fiscal squabble. The BoomBox caught up with the Atlanta based producer, born Shondrae Crawford, who was singing a very different tune at the mention of Wayne. “Everything is being worked out through the legal process,” he told The BoomBox. “It’s really out of his control honestly. I mean he don’t run the label, he don’t own the label — he’s just on the label. I just got an email from my attorney saying they’re getting the exact number of what I’m owned and things will be taken care of. ” The whole disagreement between Wayne and Bangladesh started over the track ‘A Millie’ which appeared on his 2008 album ‘Tha Carter III.’ Bangladesh alleged that the popularity of the track propelled the album to sell over three million copies domestically. Proving that there are no hard feelings, Bangladesh plans to put together more beats for Wayne. “[Young Money president] Mack Maine reached out to me not too long ago telling me Wayne wants some beats,” he says. “It’s specific beats that he wants. My thing is, long as this gets taken care of and we don’t have any future problems everything will be worked out. It ain’t the beef with Wayne it’s just the whole label. I really never had too much of…

T.I.’S AXE Endorsement tarnished?

Not only is T.I. facing jail time for possibly violating his probation, but the consequences don’t end there. The emcee, who nabbed an AXE endorsement earlier this year, may lose his sponsorship from the company following his recent arrest for felony drug possession. A rep for AXE tells TMZ that the company was “troubled by [T.I.’s] arrest” and will be “reviewing our promotional activities.” His professional relationship with the corporation came to fruition after T.I. promised to clean up his act after serving a bid for weapons possession. The company even enlisted him as its launch artist for their “One Night Only” concert series in NYC, which saw contemporaries such as Mary J. Blige, Keri Hilson and B.o.B joining the King of the South on stage. Tip is still featured on the AXE website, but it’s company may not have his back any longer. source:
