As smartphones and tablets saturate the market, tech companies are realizing there’s still one screen that remains largely unconquered – the television. While Microsoft is in this space with Xbox, it’s far from dominant, and set-top boxes from Google and Apple are trying to work their way into the living room. Samsung Wallet Is Much Like Apple’s Passbook App!!

Samsung Wallet Now Available in Google Play Store, allowing users to store and categorize tickets, coupons, membership cards, etc. Other features include the ability to receive co-marketing and loyalty card coupons. For the now the app only runs on the Galaxy S III, S4, Note, and Note II. Some vendors that will be supporting it will be Walgreens, MLB, Expedia.com, Hotels.com, Booking.com. We are all aware of the Microsoft ads mocking Siri and its capabilities but it’s newest commercial is coming after Apple’s 7.9 inch iPad Mini. The point of the commercial is to show that the 8.1 inch Acer Iconia W3 can handle Word documents, powerful gaming, etc compared to the iPad mini in which they try to portray as only good for lower power tasks such as reading iBooks.
