New Yahoo CEO Ends Telecommuting For Employers, Causes Outrage
Marissa Mayer the New CEO of Yahoo feels that it’s important for Yahoo employees to report to their offices instead of telecommuting all the time. While Telecommuting has many perks Mayer believes that Yahoo can only achieve it’s full potential by being present and making real life connections. The kinds of connections that happen in the hallways of a business or the ideas that are drawn up while at lunch with a coworker are things that would seldom occur in a society where telecommuting is the norm, it automatically sets you apart because you’re physically separated. Palm CEO Said He Wasn’t Afraid of Steve Jobs And Apple
Was the late great Steve Jobs a sore loser if any other company hired a former employee of Apple. The answer to that is yes…Apparently the great Jobs was set to launch a lawsuit against Palm. After some documents were unearthed, according to these documents Jobs “threatened to file a patent lawsuit against Palm if that company’s chief executive didn’t agree to refrain from poaching Apple employees.”. I mean wouldn’t want employers recruiting my current workers myself. Palm’s CEO said he did not approach or even attempt to hire Apple employees. CEO, Bryan Leach Of Polo Grounds Records Talks A$AP Rocky And Their Relationship
Bryan Leach had a sit down with XXL Mag and goes over everything A$AP Rocky. I was feeling Bryan saying that “Rocky is an old school artist.” That’s exactly where I would classify him. I think it’s why I’m off him right now. Throwback feeling. On another note, Bryan tells XXL that A$AP was basically skeptical of signing. He mentions that Rocky made him promise to do something for him if he signed. Because “Rocky’s an old school artist he doesn’t sign to labels he signs to people,” Bryan says, “If you can promise me that you’ll be as hands-on as you are now always, then we might be able to do something. It was important for me to be really hands-on and making sure that nothing got thrown to some big department or some big group of so-called experts, or shit like that.” Respect.
