Lil Wayne is in the media fairly often just because he’s so famous, but he actually lives a relatively private life. The YMCMB rapper rarely tweets, and when he does, it’s usually about sports. He doesn’t have an Instagram page, and we don’t see him out very often, unless it’s a random club night…and even then, he’s usually just with his boys. That seems to be changing, though, (perhaps as they gear up for Tha Carter V promo time?) as now he’s going to be doing a weekly webisode series, giving an inside look at his life. (Photos) Friend Of Lil Wayne & Mack Maine Killed By Police Over Little Hug Fruit Juice
Police Officers: The Originators of ‘Stand Your Ground’ New Orleans resident Keith “Magik” Atkinson was shot and killed by police, while standing in front of a corner store. Officers were responding to a call, early Sunday morning about a shoplifter who stole a Little Hug fruit juice. The juice thief was said to be wearing a blue shirt, which was the same color shirt Atkinson was wearing. Officer Jonathan Hirdes said that he saw a weapon on Atkinson, so he shot to kill. Later, a .45 was found next to the body. The victim was friends of YMCMB’ s Lil Wayne and Mack Maine, who along with his father has spoken out on the incident. Check it out, after the jump.

A teacher in Florida has been suspended after giving his 8th grade class an assignment that consisted of breaking down Lil Wayne’s popular “6 Foot, 7 Foot” lyrics. The YMCMB emcee had a sit-down with ESPN’s First Take during NBA All-Star Weekend where he commented on the sticky situation. Weezy said, “I’d never be embarrassed by anything I say because I say it and I mean it. But I don’t think that kids—I mean, I don’t think that you should be trying to teach it any way to kids because I don’t record it and say it for kids to listen to it, but they will hear it.” Check out the full interview below.
