The end of an era literally. The world’s oldest and last living person from the 1800’s has passed away in Brooklyn, late last night.

It was with mixed emotions we reported Former First Lady, Nancy Reagan has passed away on March 6th, 2016. At 94 year-old she died of congestive heart failure in her Bel-air home. Wednesday (March 9th) her body was moved from a funeral home in Santa Monica to her final resting place in Simi Valley. A quarterback at a New Jersey high school died after sustaining an injury in a varsity football game, school officials said. Evan Murray, a senior at Warren Hills Regional High School, died Friday night, according to a statement from Gary Bowen, interim superintendent of schools.


NBA: RIP, Charles Barkley’s Mother, Charcey Glenn, Passes Away At Age 73

Our thoughts and condolences go out to Charles Barkley and his family as it was announced his mother, Charcey Glenn, has passed away in her Alabama home at the age of 73. Deputy medical examiner Derrick Perryman says a report lists the cause of death as kidney failure, and Barkley as the next of kin. A pastor at First Baptist Church of Leeds says Glenn’s funeral is scheduled there on June 27. Barkley has always talked about his mother so affectionately throughout the years on “Inside the NBA”. Rest in Peace Charcey Glenn.

Lauren did all she could in her short time, including never giving up on her dream of playing college basketball. She never complained, she just lived her life to the fullest before she had to go and Lebron James got very emotional about it on twitter today. Sports: College Basketball Player Lauren Hill Loses Her Fight With Brain Cancer, Passes Away At Age 19

Lauren Hill became a star without trying to. Just the way she put up her fight with brain cancer and did her best to being awareness of it and be the poster child for it was inspirational enough. The 19-year-old freshman basketball player at Mount St. Joseph University died at a hospital Friday morning, the co-founder of her foundation The Cure Starts Now said. Even though that is very sad news, she did things on her terms and her way and that is something to smile about.
