This Petition Demands T.I. To Donate To League of Women Voters After Sexist Comments

Looks like T.I. is going to have to put his money where his mouth is before everyone is going to accept his apology for the sexist remarks he made last week. Incase you missed it, Tip was doing an interview with DJ Whoo Kidd on Shade 45 when he said, “I can’t vote for the leader of the free world to be a woman.” According to the Atlanta rapper, woman are too emotional and “make rash decisions.” His comments were greeted with immediate backlash from social media users, Oprah even told T.I. to “Hush” when she caught wind of his statements. Since then T.I. has issued two apologies about the incident saying, “My comments about women running for president were unequivocally insensitive and wrong, I sincerely apologize to everyone I offended.” However now, the League of Women Voters wants action rather than words. The group has started a petition demanding that T.I. donate to their cause. Hit the jump for more.

(Video) Tiny Defends T.I. Says He’s Sexist “Sometimes”

During yesterday’s interview with DJ Whoo Kid on Shade 45 T.I. revealed he would never vote for a woman president. He gave reasons like “I just know that women make rash decisions emotionally and later they make very permanent cemented decisions and then later, it’s kinda like, it didn’t happen or they didn’t mean for it to happen. I sure would hate to just set off a nuke.” After being dragged all over social media for his comments, Tip apologized on Twitter saying, “My comments about women running for president were unequivocally insensitive and wrong.” Shortly after, TMZ photogs caught up with T.I.’s wife Tiny and asked her how she felt about his comments. According to her, his old fashioned ways of chivalry and wanted to take care of a woman, “sometimes” make him sexist. Check out what she had to say below.

(Video + Photos) Obama Calls Who “The Best Looking”?!?

Sometimes people forget that while Obama is the President, he is also a man. At a fundraising event in San Francisco for the Democratic Party, Obama praised the California attorney general Kamala Harris, saying “You have to be careful to, first of all, say she is brilliant and she is dedicated and she is tough, and she is exactly what you’d want in anybody who is administering the law, and making sure that everybody is getting a fair shake,” Obama said. “She also happens to be, by far, the best looking attorney general in the country. It’s true! C’mon.” LOL I wonder what Michelle said! Check out the video and pictures of Kamala Harris after the jump.

JCPenney Under Pressure Over T-Shirts

JCPenney is under pressure over some of their t-shirts. Parents are claiming that the t-shirts are too negatively stereotypical and sexist. The shirts use to be just for the girls line, but now they have extended to a boys line as well. Some of the shirts read “I hate my pretty sister” and “I’m too shy to talk to girls so I stalk them on Facebook.” Look at some of the shirts after the jump and let us know what you think of them after the jump. @Julie1205
