WE TV To Air New Reality Series, ‘Growing Up Hip Hop,” Staring Angela Simmons, Romeo Miller & More

Similar to the Rich Kids of Beverly Hills, only a little less snobby, a lot more urban and music-related, comes the new WE TV reality docu-series, ‘Growing Up Hip Hop’. The six-episode docu-series from Entertainment One is scheduled for a late 2015 premiere, and will follow the offspring from hip-hop icons Damon Dash, Rev. Run, Russell Simmons, Master P, El DeBarge and Pepa from Salt-N-Pepa. Find out more below.


Bow Wow To Executive Produce ‘Growing Up Hip-Hop: Atlanta’

weTV debuted their new show, Growing Up Hip-Hop, earlier this year, chronicling the lives of budding hip-hop personalities who grew up in the spotlight because they had a famous parent. The New York-based cast included Angela Simmons (daughter of Rev Run,) Romeo Miller (son of Master P,) Damon “Boogie” Dash (son of Dame Dash,) Kristinia DeBarge (daughter of James DeBarage,) TJ Mizell (son of the late Jam Master Jay) and Egypt Criss (daughter of Sandy “Pepa” Denton,) and now the show will be getting an Atlanta spin-off.
