It seems like former President George W. Bush still hasn’t gotten over his turbulent past with rapper Kanye West. Several years ago during a Hurricane Katrina telethon, Kanye fired shots at the former president saying, “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.” The incident must have truly scarred Bush who later named the incident “one of the most disgusting moments” of his presidency. When TMZ cameras caught up with Bush, and asked him what he thought about Kanye announcing his bid for the presidency in 2020, he could only respond with laughter. Check out the clip below.
Democratic presidential candidate and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is in the hot seat by Republicans about her leadership at the State Department before and after the 2012 attacks on the diplomatic compound in Benghazi, will she be able to hold up her weight for the eight hours? GOP members of the House Select Committee on Benghazi questioned Clinton about her awareness of the deteriorating security situation in Libya and about her role in forming the nation’s overall strategy in the troubled region; this alone may make or break her presidential campaign.
Despite his previous plans to run for president, Waka Flocka has announced he will be setting a new career goal in politics and be running for Speaker of The House. Having to put aside his presidential dreams due to the 35 year-old age requirement, Flocka says being President “is not where the real power is.” According to the rapper, being Speaker of the House will allow him to support “cool things” like “marijuana, women’s rights” and “gun control” and get rid of “stupid things” like “trans-Pacific partnerships, voter ID laws and building a wall around Mexico.” Check out his campaign in the latest Funny Or Die clip below.
Looks like T.I. is going to have to put his money where his mouth is before everyone is going to accept his apology for the sexist remarks he made last week. Incase you missed it, Tip was doing an interview with DJ Whoo Kidd on Shade 45 when he said, “I can’t vote for the leader of the free world to be a woman.” According to the Atlanta rapper, woman are too emotional and “make rash decisions.” His comments were greeted with immediate backlash from social media users, Oprah even told T.I. to “Hush” when she caught wind of his statements.
