Likely due to the legalities of it, Tunechi did not speak on his current $51 million lawsuit against Birdman and Cash Money Records that he recently moved from NYC to New Orleans, but he did speak on the definition of “Truffle Butter” (which was NOT what he thought,) Tha Carter V, reuniting with Mannie Fresh and more.

Even though he’s touring the country right now on his Release Partiez club tour, Christina Milian had her boo Lil Wayne with her in spirit while sitting courtside at a Lakers game over the weekend. Though he just released his Sorry For The Wait 2 mixtape…and though DJ Drama just announced that they’re working on a sixth installment of their Dedication mixtape series…and though Tha Carter V will be coming eventually…Lil Wayne took to Twitter early this morning to announce ANOTHER new project coming, The Free Weezy Album. This guy doesn’t stop! Tunechi is currently battling Birdman in court to be freed of his Cash Money contract and/or to have C5 released, so it could be quite some time until that project sees the light of day. (Photos + Video) Ooh, Check Out Who Lil Wayne Just Hit The Studio With!

After partying on Sunday night at Miami hot spot LIV together, Lil Wayne and none other than the Migos were spotted in the studio this week! Lil Wayne is currently working on the pending Tha Carter V, as well as a Sorry For The Wait 2 mixtape while all of the C5 drama gets cleared, while Migos will sooner than later be putting out their debut album. The trio were also supposed to be putting out a joint mixtape with Bobby Shmurda but…we all know how that went. Could they be working on a joint for one of those projects? Perhaps something totally separate? Either way, I’m excited for these guys to get together! I always thought Weezy would sound dope on Migos’ “Fight Night,” (don’t know why,) so this pairing is something I’m totally here for! What do you guys think? Check the pics in the gallery and video below and let us know your thoughts!

Don’t Stress! Mack Maine Has A GOOD Update About Lil Wayne vs. Cash Money!

As we all know by now, Lil Wayne is at odds with Birdman and Cash Money Records over the long-awaited Tha Carter V. Via Weezy’s Twitter rant a little over a week ago, Birdman and CMR “refuse to release” the album, and he wants “off this label and nothing to do with these people.” He did not elaborate on why exactly he’s at odds with his longtime label, but a later update said that Birdman was “deeply offended” by the statements. He also said he has no plans to release Wayne from his contract, even being willing to go to court if that’s what it takes. He does, however, plan to release Tha Carter V at some point, but says there’s still “lots of administrative work” left to be done before it can drop.
